Yoga Oasis is a small, friendly yoga space in Wylde Green. We pride ourselves on creating a safe and relaxed atmosphere for everyone to practice yoga, from beginners to experienced yogis.
We offer a range of classes, including Hatha, restorative, Yin yoga, beginners, flow classes, Pilates and relaxation.
Our teachers have all undertaken extensive training and are passionate about teaching safely. We welcome all abilities and believe yoga is for everybody, we can all benefit from this beautiful practice.
Rachel Hassett
She would tell everyone about this wonderful practice and how it could help them and so she became a teacher to share her love for yoga.
She gained her 200 hour Yoga Alliance certificate as a Hatha yoga teacher and then went on to gain a 50 hour Pregnancy Yoga certificate & 50 hour Yin yoga certificate. She believes yoga is for everyone and encourages the use of props in her classes to make them accessible to everyone.
Josie Lindley
She first came across Pilates following a problematic appendicitis that had left her fatigued with decreased strength.
From attending Pilates classes she restored her strength, developed her core and found energy she had never had before. Discovering how well Pilates works during rehabilitation and also the potential it has to improve athletic ability, Josie felt inspired to teach it.
Josie completed her Pilates teacher training with Body Control Pilates, a clinical method of practising Pilates that draws on medical and sports research.

The physical benefits of yoga are endless & include; improved flexibility, increased muscle strength & tone, improved posture, protection from injury. It strengthens & protects the spine, improves bone health, circulation, adrenal gland function, blood pressure, digestion and more. Aside from all these wonderful physical benefits, the reasons most people fall in love with yoga are beyond the physical.
Physical postures (asana), controlled breathing (pranayama) and meditation (dhyana) all contribute to a feeling of inner peace & calmness. Yoga can reduce stress & anxiety, improve sleep & promote a general sense of well-being. In a busy world, yoga gives you the chance be in the present moment & to come back to you. Bringing a sense of stillness and inner peace, reminding us that peaceful and happy is who we truly are.
Who Can Do Yoga?
Anyone & everyone can practice & benefit from yoga.
Yoga is for everybody! Yoga is free from judgement & competition. It encourages you to listen to your body & do what is best for it. You do not have to be flexible to do yoga!
